Currently, stones have become the focus of her creativity to tell the story of the connection between nature and humanity. Like stones, each of us are tumbled, tossed, and polished by the currents of time. We weather numerous storms, suffer the effects of gravity and, after a bit of erosion, we return to where we belong. Our strengths and fragilities are revealed. It is then that we realize each of us are diamonds in the rough: precious gems.
Through her powerful works of art that incorporate a wide variety of mediums including oil and cold wax, acrylic, and pastels, Bonnie creates a sense of wonder and mystery that invites the viewer to recognize our uniqueness and spiritual connection to the earth.
